Q: iOs6: syncing doesn't work as promised

After wasting a lot of time with Apple client support, I decided to address my problem here.

Upgrading to Ios6, can't enjoy my iPod anymore, as I can't watch/listen to my mp4 files. Any advise? I needed for study, therefore would highly appreciate any advise.

Thanks!

    Have you tried here:

iTunes: May be unable to transfer videos to iPhone, iPad, or iPod

What is the source of the videos and details of the format?

Have you tried using a program like HandBreak to to convert them to a compatible format?

I too have had issues.  I am using a Macbook Pro with Mountain Lion and my iPad 2.  Both devices are fully updated and I am using the exact same converting program that has worked seamlessly in the past but since upgrading my IOS to 6, my videos (.mp4) do not sync to my iPad.  After syncing I see a placeholder for the file in VIDEOS app but there is no actual content to play.  If I expand my side panel on my iPad in iTunes, I see the file in grey and the double arrow 'sync' icon but the actual SYNC shows as complete.  I can "sometimes" get my files to copy if I actually drag the video into my iPad on the sidebar of iTunes but even this is intermittent.  I have also tried syncing both over wifi AND using the cable and unchecking the SYNC WITH WIFI option.
