Blank screen issue.
My screen is black. I've tried zapping the PRAM and SMU idea but no change. Just in case, how do you know if the brightness has been altered? Thanks Mick.
iMac, Mac OS X (10.6)
F2 makes it brighter, give it a try.
Also in system preferences>displays, there is a slider for brightness.
