Q: delete icloud account from iPad

I want to give my old iPad to my kids, and I want them to use there iCloud account on the old iPad.

 

I see that I can "Delete my iCloud Account", but I don't want to remove it from my other devices. Does this delete destroy my iCloud account everywhere, or just from the machine it is run on?
