"British-PC" dictionary option?

I noticed a "British-PC" option under Languages & Text: Input Sources, please don't don't confirm my worst suspicions that this a watered down version of the British language as the official British dictionary is already missing vital words for the right occasion as it is.

Anybody know what it's for? PC users perhaps?

"Input Sources" have nothing to do with dictionaries. These are keyboard layouts. British-PC is the layout you should use if you have a non-apple hardware keyboard or have normally used one of those. The "British" layout has some characters in different places than what pc users are familiar with.
