do you have to pay for the subscriptions to the courses on Itunes U?
It didnt tell me that i was purchasing anything but it seems way to good to be true cause, theyre college courses I dont want to risk it.

It depends on the course. Many courses are available at no charge, but institutions do also put up course material for which you have to register and pay. If you were given open access to the course, though, then there is no charge.
