Q: How can I save an image into iPhoto?

My goal is to save some pictures from Facebook into iPhoto. I have an "event" or album or whatever in iPhoto that I want to add these pictures to. When I save the picture iPhoto is not an option; I tried to copy and paste, that didn't work. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Some web sites it's possible to drag a copy of the picture off the site and drop it onto the Desktop area, thus making a file which can be Imported into iPhoto's Library.

Some web sites the images are part of the background and thus can't be removed, but you can use

    Command Shift 4

to draw a rectangle around the image and click, a screenshot will appear on the Desktop.

I actually figured it out... just saved the pictures I want to my pictures folder in finder, and then in iPhoto went to File >> Import to Library and imported them from there. Probably should have spent more time with it before I gave up! haha. Thanks!
