Passbook has so much potential. Did anyone else get the impression that there would be a way to scan in gift cards and somehow they would magically appear in your passbook? I've found two ways to put "passes" onto my phone. One is the website www.passsource.com I can imagine that I could put all sorts of things in the passbook, but as I began to create a few of them, I realized that passbook is not passworded. I don't generally lock my phone with a password, anything monetary has it's own password. So my money data is safe. Except for passbook. If my phone were stolen and I had a bunch of gift cards and loyalty cards in there, they could be copied from my phone, or used without any trouble at all.
So Apple... if you ever read these...
