I always use FaceTime and Skype.
Today my voice could not be heard on either program.
I could hear fine.
The other party could not hear me. My other sounds worked fine.
Please can you tell me how to fix this audio problem with FaceTime???

Open Audio Midi Setup in Applications>Utilities, see the input & output options & KHz setting there, some things will change it for their own use, then not set it back.

Look into About This Mac ... More Info ... System Report ... Audio. When you highlight the microphone listing does it give info on the device. If it's not there then it probably failed.
Thank you for the suggestion. I did find my information listed, so I guess this is not the problem!??
Well, I opened the Audio Midi setup and it read Hz...no K. Everything was listed there...I am not sure what else to look for in that file to help my problem. I am 75, and need more help!! Thx.
And the Input source was your Internal Mic?
Have you rebooted?
