Google Chrome for 10.5.8?

I have Mac OS X 10.5.8 - is there anyway to download Google Chrome without having to buy the upgrade to 10.6?

No.

And older versions of any web browser are no longer supported and pose a security risk.

Your best bet to staying secure and supported online is to upgrade your version of OS X, if you can.

On OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, Safari is far too outdated and is considered very unsecure, Google has, also, dropped support for Google Chrome on OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard making the last Chrome version for 10.6 also risky and unsecure, now.

Minimum Mac OS X for latest Chrome web browser is now OS X 10.7 Lion at later.

So, your only choices for up to date, supported web browsers are, currently,

Mozilla Firefox

SeaMonkey

Waterfox

Good Luck
