What are you trying to connect your iphone to via bluetooth?
My iPad 2.
just upgraded to iPhone 5 from 3GS, had no problems connecting with that one.

bluetooth via two apple devices is not supported.
Well it used to be. Anyway, it does not find any other device ie Nokia, Blackberry, Samsung or PC.
where as the 3gs did and so does the iPad.?
No, it won't. It supports handsfree headsets, keyboards, and A2DP audio streaming devices.
You can not pair it with another phone or with a computer other than for tethering.
My point is that the bloody thing just wont find any device, just keeps searching, although there are devices nearby
Is the device you want to pair with in discoverable mode?
