How can I enable fandango on passbook ?

If you are running the current Fandango app, the app should provide an option to transfer or add the tickets to PassBook.

If the ticket was sent via email, the received email should provide an option to add the tickets to PassBook.

You say "should," but it doesn't.

are there any updates for the app, they might not have updated it yet to work with passbook

Do you see a Mobile Ticket icon on the theater page with the app and is the chosen theater a passbook participating theater?

You can go to Fandango.com and they will provide a list of all the theaters that are passbook enabled. Hopefully in the near future, all the theaters will be Passbook enabled.

If you bought tickets from a theater that supports scanning Passbook tickets, then Fandango will show you a link to create a moble/Passbook ticket.

For other theaters that still require their ticket takers to scan or tear a printed ticket, there will be no link in Fandango nor your email for a mobile ticket, and you will have to bring your credit card to the theater's box office window so they can print your tickets for admission. Be sure to tell them you want Passbook support.

Had the same issue. The orange ticket icon on the Fandango appfollowed by the words "look for this icon for ticketing theaters" can be misleading as well. It made me believe that my local theather offered mobile ticketing. It does not.

Just did it! Follow these steps:

1. Log On to Fandango App on your device

2. Touch Account on bottom menu

3. Touch Purchases

4. Select the movie you wish to add to Passbook

5. Ticket from Fandango will appear

6. Scroll down to bottom of ticket and touch Add to Passbook

Check your Passbook. Your ticket should know be in there.
