Netflix "unavailable" suddenly

Today Netflix has become unavailable on my ATV3. Yet all other streaming services work. It has been so reliable until today. Tried resetting, restarting, unplugging. Even upgraded to latest version. Still nothing. Anyone else experiencing issues?

I have an ATV2 and I have reset, restored, unplugged (2min), reset internet/router and even custom IP and DNS. All have failed. This happended 4 days ago and now I think I'm going to need to buy a WDLive since you guys have ATV3 and the same error is occuring. If anyone knows of anything else... I don't want to restore it to a previous version of the OS unless I have to.

My ATV3 stopped connecting to Netflix before the OS update. So it's not the OS causing the problem. I also have a ATV2 and it connects fine with Netflix with the old OS and the new OS. I've even changed radio channel on the AX, used 5gz, 2gz, used the Express station, reboot cable modem, everything connects except ATV3. So the real problem is Netflix and Apple not getting their act together and not communicating with each other on this issue that affects many ATV owners.

Apple TV 2 at inlaws- Netflix working perfectly for past several months - So I updated apple tv software on Sept 29, 2012 so they could access itunes festival. Big Mistake. Netflix is now broken. Spinning wheel and unable to access Netflix. It is not network related as youtube, itunes festival streams fine. Called Netflix and they said it is now forwarded to "engineers working on it." My guess is update corrupted log in setting but not coming up with a log in screen to correct them. Any ideas? Has anyone tried changing passwords on Netflix on the computer to force it to get a new password? Netflix working fine on the Wii on the same network. Any ideas?

I still don't think its the OS. Because this started happening to my ATV3 prior to the latest OS update. Also I have another one ATV2 and it has been working fine with the previous OS and continues to work fine with the latest OS update. I really think its Netflix servers that are not recognizing logins. Specially now that iTunes integrates billing with Netflix.

First time using netflix through ATV. Completed the ATV update last night, and set up my free trial. No luck connecting at all. Called Netflix this afternoon, but they had no answers. After about 2 hours of resetting and restarting every electronic related to ATV, I did some research on Google. I found this discussion and called them back. The service rep was unaware of any problems until i mentioned "internal memo" and he searched their database. Sure enough, there it was. He said I was the first call he had heard about it and Netflix hadn't made an official announcement about it to their reps... BUT apparently they are working to get it fixed. There was not an expected resolution date, so he said just to check back every day until it is working again.

I had the same problem and no one at Apple neither Netflix was able to help. I tried several options until I had my Netflix service working on Apple TV.

This is what I've done:

I updated to the latest software and after that I was unable to login to Netflix. Whenever I clicked on the Netflix app I just had the spinning wheel running for hours without doing anything else.

I live live in Mexico, and I am English speaking, so the default language in my Apple TV is English.

I switched to Spanish and then tried to access Netflix and for my surprise I was able to login. After I logged in, I went back to Settings and switched back to English and everything is working perfect now. Try this. This might help you all.

I am in Mexico on vacation and don't have access to my ATV. However, if I did and could not access Netflix thru ATV, I would use a program called UnoTelly, that manages your VPN and 'fools' Netflix into thinking you're still in the U.S. I've tried the demo and it works. Install it on your laptop, and use Airplay Mirroring to watch it on your TV via ATV.
