Yes. Two days now. I've done almost all suggestions except for changing dns or IP address for the ATV. I guess I'll try custom DNS as I don't want to change everything to custom IP address.

Didn't work either. Don't know what else to do. Streaming through the iPad works but its not the same video and audio quality. Netflix support doesn't help beause all they ever do is tell you to call Apple. It's the Apple TV that needs to be fixed by Apple.
I wish I can delete Netflix, but there is no other choice for Apple TV.

I have an ATV2 and I have reset, restored, unplugged (2min), reset internet/router and even custom IP and DNS. All have failed. This happended 4 days ago and now I think I'm going to need to buy a WDLive since you guys have ATV3 and the same error is occuring. If anyone knows of anything else... I don't want to restore it to a previous version of the OS unless I have to.

My ATV3 stopped connecting to Netflix before the OS update. So it's not the OS causing the problem. I also have a ATV2 and it connects fine with Netflix with the old OS and the new OS. I've even changed radio channel on the AX, used 5gz, 2gz, used the Express station, reboot cable modem, everything connects except ATV3. So the real problem is Netflix and Apple not getting their act together and not communicating with each other on this issue that affects many ATV owners.

I'm hard wired so there is no way it's the wireless. I also tried the Down-Arrow+Menu on the controller for 6+ seconds and still nothing. I've been using my iPAD to watch a Netflix since this started. Let's hope there is another "update" to fix it soon.

Netflix is now available. I did nothing else after I gave. I just decided to give it a try and lo end behold its connected. It must have been Netflix all along and whatever was wrong on their is finally fixed.

Hmm. Still no joy for me and my ATV3. Same symptom, had it off for 2 days. At least it asked me to log-in again, and I had reset the password as per others with the same problem, but I am getting the same "not available.
I can stream on a laptop connected to the TV from the same wifi no problem.
This happened after my I loaded the new OS.

Apple TV 2 at inlaws- Netflix working perfectly for past several months - So I updated apple tv software on Sept 29, 2012 so they could access itunes festival. Big Mistake. Netflix is now broken. Spinning wheel and unable to access Netflix. It is not network related as youtube, itunes festival streams fine. Called Netflix and they said it is now forwarded to "engineers working on it." My guess is update corrupted log in setting but not coming up with a log in screen to correct them. Any ideas? Has anyone tried changing passwords on Netflix on the computer to force it to get a new password? Netflix working fine on the Wii on the same network. Any ideas?

I still don't think its the OS. Because this started happening to my ATV3 prior to the latest OS update. Also I have another one ATV2 and it has been working fine with the previous OS and continues to work fine with the latest OS update. I really think its Netflix servers that are not recognizing logins. Specially now that iTunes integrates billing with Netflix.

I spoke with Netflix and the rep said that both Netflix and Apple are aware of the problem and are working on it.
And interesting about the integrated billing. I have been prompted to re-load my iTunes billing info when ATV3 first powers-up.
Will try that, never use it, but will re-load b4 powering today.

First time using netflix through ATV. Completed the ATV update last night, and set up my free trial. No luck connecting at all. Called Netflix this afternoon, but they had no answers. After about 2 hours of resetting and restarting every electronic related to ATV, I did some research on Google. I found this discussion and called them back. The service rep was unaware of any problems until i mentioned "internal memo" and he searched their database. Sure enough, there it was. He said I was the first call he had heard about it and Netflix hadn't made an official announcement about it to their reps... BUT apparently they are working to get it fixed. There was not an expected resolution date, so he said just to check back every day until it is working again.
Please keep us informed of any updates you get!

I had the same problem and no one at Apple neither Netflix was able to help. I tried several options until I had my Netflix service working on Apple TV.
This is what I've done:
I updated to the latest software and after that I was unable to login to Netflix. Whenever I clicked on the Netflix app I just had the spinning wheel running for hours without doing anything else.
I live live in Mexico, and I am English speaking, so the default language in my Apple TV is English.
I switched to Spanish and then tried to access Netflix and for my surprise I was able to login. After I logged in, I went back to Settings and switched back to English and everything is working perfect now. Try this. This might help you all.
