Just a suggestion ….. The iCloud download instruction says: “To enable iCloud on your Windows PC (Windows 7 or 8 required), first set up iCloud on your other devices, then install the iCloud Control Panel for Windows.”  Would it be better, clearer and pinpoint to add Apple between “other devices”, so that everyone can see that an Apple device must be used to set up iCloud. When I first saw “other devices”, I didn’t know exactly what they meant, other brand of devices (Apple? Dell? Lenovo?) or other kind of devices (smart phone? tablet? desktop? lap top?).  This would save some arguments as seen in this thread.

Rather than waiting a year to tell me,

in reaction of march 14 :

"I don't really understand why you have an iCloud account, without a Mac or an IOS device what are you sharing with?"

    Hello

I would like to interfere in this discussion.

Although I have an iPod, "sharing" was not the reason why I bought iTunes Match (with iCloud).

A little explanation : my intention is to insert songs/music in my videos and slideshows.

But .... the AAC format of iTunes causes problems.  And the only way to convert the AAC format of the music I purchased in iTunes was to buy  "iTunes Match".

Even .... I never used  the "sync" for my iPod.  I prefer to add my playlists manually.

Maybe I am missing some interesting things of iTunes and iCloud.  If so, it would make me happy to receive some reaction.

    Many greetings,

    iTunes is not iCloud,

If you do not have an IOS device iCloud offers nothing to you.
