App Store problem - blank screens

I'm getting blank screens in App Store on my iPad 3 with ios 6 - charts and categories screens are blank. Blank screens also when redirected to a particular app from a web page link. Wife has same iPad and hers works perfectly. Have rebooted, turned off and confirmed good wifi signal etc. everything else seems to be working. Any ideas please?

I had similar problem yesterday with msg saying 'unable to connect to itunes' screen was also blank. The only solution that worked for me after numerous restarts / reboots was to go to Settings>wifi>Network Settings and Restore Network settings. (no data or apps are lost with this move). The ipad will then reboot and when you go back into wifi settings you will have to join network again and if required input your router password. All should be fine then. Hope this helps. 🙂

Saw this on another post.


Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.


This works for some users. Not sure why.

Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Hi there..I am a Malaysian iPad user and I have been facing the same problem since October 10th. I asked a few of my friends who use iPhones and iPads and they did not face the same problem. Then I tried setting the date forward and back, switching my iPad on and off and whatnot but the problem still persists. I cannot even log in to App Store. I tried changing my password and yet nothing works. I can play all my games, access all my other apps and also go online. The problem only lies with the iTunes and App Store. I hope Apple fixes this soon enough.
