2 days ago i have updated my iOS 5.1.1 to iOS 6.
Last night i was out and tried to use FaceTime over 3G network, as they say it would work no. But it was continuously says that i need to connect to a wifi network. So i need a solution pls.

where can i find how to downgrade back to 5.1.1 ?
There is no Apple supported downgrade path.

Facetime is flaky at the best of times, even befoe iOS 6. It's completely unreliable even with a fast and solid wifi connection
My fault definitely, i never should update to 6, cos it doesn't worth it. Now i need to live with it ? Craps.
The only good thing i thought it will work is FaceTime over 3G but it seems not.

iPhone 4 cannot use FaceTime in 3G BUT it can provide that service to say an iPad (3) without a data contract!
This morning I used my iPhone 4 IOS6 as a personal hotspot in a 3G location, with said iPad - which could then FaceTime well!!!
Frustrating that I couldn't use the iPhone 4 directly!
Am I missing something? Is it a bug? Or a 'feature'?
Not sure of the technical requirements of FaceTime over cellular, but seems like Apple is just trying to limit the feather to newer phones to push people to upgrade...
Hello my aunt is currently using my old IPhone 4 on IOS6 with Orange travelling by train from Glasgow,i am talking to her using an Iphone4S on O2 running IOS6 and we are talking via facetime no problems over 3G,just to let you know it works provided we are both on a 3g network ! OR it works on any combination of WiFi/3G
this feature is available/limited by the carrier NOT APPLE
