After downloading/ upgrading to IOS 6, several features do not work properly; the sms text/ keyboard does not function as previously, it duplicates letters and functions or commands. Is this happening generally, and can itbe fixed?
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
There is no supported method to downgrade the iOS.
