Restoring from iCloud progress stops

After updating to iOS 6 last week on my iPad 2, I began to have issues with my iTunes Match not working. I finally decided to erase my iPad and restore from an iCloud backup. During the restore, while in the black screen with the Apple logo, the progress bar stops at varying lengths, depending which backup I select. I backup to iCloud about every night; thus, I have several iCloud backups I can attempt to use (all iCloud backups I have attempted to use are from iOS 6). I'm not sure what else to do. I have tried this several times and to no avail. The progress of each restore from an iCloud backup just gets "stuck" while in the black screen with Apple logo. I should also mention that I have given the iPad restore several hours to work, but again each time it gets stuck. Are there any suggestions? Could Apple's servers be slow or down this weekend? Should I wait a couple of days and try to restore from the lastest backup then? Thanks.

Same situation, albeit different hardware. The progress bar always gets stuck at about 10%. Furthermore, I cannot complete a restore with iTunes. The only thing I have been able to do is set up the phone as new. I initially thought this was a hardware issue, but now I'm not so sure.

I have been scouring the net for 3 days looking for a fix, but nothing yet.

By the way, the hardware at hand is a 4S.

Just thought I'd update my progress regarding restoring from an icloud backup in iOS 6. After visiting the genius bar at my local Apple Store, I determined with the Genius Bar associate that the backup(s) in iCloud were corrupt and that I must start fresh. There seems to be an issue with iOS 6 and iCloud backups. I haven't tried restoring with my new backup. Hopefully it is fixed or will be fixed.
