my apple tv remote is controlling my macbook, it is extremenly annoying, i would like for it to only control my apple tv
how do i stop this?

You can turn it off in settings on your MBP, settings-security-advanced and and turn off the remote control infrared reciever. Click the padlock if it is locked to allow changes.
