I just bought a used G4 700 15", and I know I have to get and external memory unit that has a little over 500mb, but can I just install tiger into my iMac?

As long as the computer meets the system requirements, you don't need to do anything else.

There's the above article for reference but I don't think you need any updates which is a good thing because all the links for the downloads are broken.
My Mac is a G4 700 at OS 9.2, do I just install tiger 10.4 straight or do I need to something else before??
