dng file viewer

Hi, I would like to know what dng file viewer can be used in mountain lion. I tried using File Viewer but I do not show the 'image while jpg files I have no problems. thanks

You need a real image editing, cataloging, program like Adobe Lightroom or Aperture. There are others.

DNG files are Digital Negatives and the format was introduced by Adobe. If you don't have a program that can read these type files then I suggest you set your camera to stop taking them. But your camera should of come with some type of editing/cataloging/viewing program that can read these files.

thanks, already use lightroom. try a program such as apple preview that allows me to see just a little dng files as with jpg files

None that I know of.

But if these are Camera DNGs the viewer/editing program must also be able to read the make/model camera. One way around that is to use the Adobe DNG converter program to make them Generic DNG instead of Camera Specific DNGs.
