Sep 29, 2012 11:00 PM in response to baltwoby Willie 21,Thank you for your effort baltwo.
Before you answered I already booted up and re-installed Lion.
I ran verify permissions and this is what turned up:
Verifying permissions for “Macintosh HD”
Warning: SUID file “System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent” has been modified and will not be repaired.
Repairing permissions for “Macintosh HD”
Warning: SUID file “System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent” has been modified and will not be repaired.
The HD is ok.
What does the above mean and how can I repair it?

Sep 30, 2012 1:20 AM in response to baltwoby Willie 21,My problem is still there then.
I upgraded to Mac OS X Mountain Lion.
I thought that maybe would solve the problem but it doesn't.
Still need help to solve the problem mentioned in my Original post.
I guess this is now also a Mac OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2 problem!

Sep 30, 2012 10:36 AM in response to Willie 21by baltwo,Bad move upgrading without fixing the problem. If you can, create a new admin user account, log into it, and see if the problem persists. If you can't, then contact Apple's Express Lane.
