Does the IPHONE5 have a fm and/or a.m. radio capability and if yes, do you need to be connected to wi-fi to use it?

I know but I was hoping that I was missing something with the new phone - I like to run/walk with my IPOD and Phone I was hoping to only use the IPHONE 5 but I like to listen to sports' talk at times

The iPhone 5 has a Broadcom 4334 Chip. It supports FM Radio but the iOS 6 do not support it. The iPod Nano has the same chip. And its operatingsystem supports FM Radio.
