Trouble removing iPhone 5 cable from USB port

I have a new iPhone 5. I am having great difficulty getting the cord out of the USB port - have to pull it and jiggle it and am afraid I'll break something. I saw an item in an online forum that said Apple is aware of this problem and will provide replacement cables to users with this problem. Is that correct? If so, how do I get one? Do the replacement cables work differently than the one that came with the new iPhone? Thanks for your help.

Reply to Tim, The cord gets stuck in the computer. I have a MacBook Pro. Here is the link to the discussion I saw: http://www.tuaw.com/2012/09/26/some-users-reporting-difficulty-removing-lightnin g-cables-usb-e/

I also thought of taking it to a Genius Bar, but the nearest one is two hours away, so I just pulled really hard and wiggled it as much as I could. The first time I had to pull so hard that I knocked over something that was on my desk next to my computer. The second time I picked up the Mac and held it and just pulled as hard as I could. It's a bit scary, though, so just now I've left it in in case I need to use it again anytime soon. There aren't that many USB ports, so I can't leave it there, which would be silly anyway for a laptop computer.
