bluetooth pairs but does not connect

iPhone4 GSM, latest iOS 6, since update neither wifi or bluetooth tethering work. client is a mac book pro, mountain lion latest build. Tmobile contract with tethering. After resetting the phone network settings, a hardware reset, a factory reset an restore i'm lost. All worked soooo smoothly before. Is iOS6 an invite to downgrade?
