How can automatically used Gmails contacts name by défaut for unified card ?

Me too, I used "Use this name for unified card" one by one (took me some time to get through all), they're all back now on facebook...

This is annoying me, too many of my friends don't use their real names on facebook, thus sometimes I can't find their names quickly in my contacts.

After some time adress book starts using FB names!

Personally I think, you either choose whether iOS contacts or fb get the lead as default.

I don't want to choose contact by contact, unless it being optional.

Hope apple fixes this immediately as I feel like a beta tester on this function at the moment. .

Just curious about everyone who's experienced this problem FB overtaking the default name.

Do you use a Mac or Windows to sync with iTunes.

If Mac, which version of OS X do you have Lion, Mountain Lion, etc.?

Hi psy4C, appreciate your willingness to help, but I doubt this has anything to do with OS as the synch is happening on the IOS device, not even updating to iCloud as I observed... this should be resolved on the IOS device level, not on the OS X level I think...

Same here. Only had my iPhone 5 for less than 2 months but it keeps changing unified card back to facebook name and picture. I really like having customized names (ie: "Mom" instead of her whole name on facebook) and I really like having fullscreen caller ID pics.. and changing the unified card works great, but only for a couple days and before I know it, its back to FB contact.

Although I will say that I am a little relieved that its not only me and im not doing something wrong.. but it's still frustrating! I hope they will have an update soon that fixes this issue!

This is SO annoying!! Like everyone says, driving me crazy. I wish Apple would fix the problem - it's completely messing up my whole address book, and i'm fed up with my hundreds of contact name changes being overwritten & changed every time my phone syncs with Facebook. Grrr...

I was sure I have something messed up on my mac and syncing keeps overwriting my adress book, but I see it's not ony me having this issue. But there's a strange issue with mac contacts as well, when I use iMessage on Mac, it chooses contacts that are on my mac, iCloud has the lowest priority (maybe that's the answer?).

So annoying! Please fix this soon Apple! Everytime i try and change me unified contacts to one name it always changes back to their facebook name.
