Replaced lcd / inverter twice but can't get backlight to work.
I have worked on Apple computers for many years and know
all the precautions to take, so I don't believe that I created a
short. The backlight worked with the broken lcd, but wil not work
with the new. HELP!!

I have similar problem, I've replaced the whole display assembly on my Macair A1370 unfortunatly the backlight doesn't work althought the screen works, I've spent too much money so far to fix this unit, can anybody help me please.
corroded lcd connector @ logic or corroded inverter connector
or damaged feed from inverter to LED strip. Doesnt have to be a SPILL to have corrosion, as a repair person you know this to be the case.
