Q: page width

My text edit page is really wide . Which make my reading look shorter than what it is ... How do you set the page width & what is the proper width a page should be ?

Minimum is 1" a side. However, a google search for change textedit margins yields many hits, amongst them is this one http://www.bouncingoffthewall.com/texteditmargins.html
