What about if computer is locked

i Have just gone to logo to my mac and found the batteries dead in the wireless keyboard, as I have a password to get into the computer I am unable to get to the apple symbol and systems to pair up the keyboard. Any suggestions please. All I can think of is plugging in another keyboard into a USB slot, but as I do not have one at hand i am unable to try this. Help

The above did not work for me but worth a try, thanks.

The way I got round it was bought a buget keyboard with USB connection and entered the password once into the system I was then able to configure the wireless keyboard to the Mac again. Have the USB keyboard in the draw just incase it happens again, always good to have a spare.

thanks

Neil.
