Recently, I purchased an audiobook from iTunes on my iPhone 4s. Today, I looked up my purchases on iTunes to download it to my computer. It doesn't show up. Why? If I were to purchase it again, would I be charged?

Because this is not a feature of icloud. The audiobook industry does not allow it.

Last time I'll be purchassing any audiobooks from iTunes. No clear indication on the iStore that I'll lose access to those audibooks if I ever erase them from my iPad.
Cheap ploy from the audiobook industry if you ask me. Does my book self-destruct when I read them? What BS.
It is also incorrect information. I bought items from Audible, both before and after Amazon purchased them. I can download them as many times as I need to and I can easily find which audiobooks I purchased.
Obviously, Apple signed different licensing agreements with the publishers and I definitely won't buy audiobooks from them again!
