Locate Error....please help!

We recently moved house (about 5 miles away from our previous place), but strangely, my iPad, iPhone and Mac all revert to our old location when 'locate' is used and not the new. How can this be?

The locate capability always impressed me on the WiFi, but does the Apple router play a part in this?

WiFi location works because a database of router locations has been created by GPS enabled devices reporting the location of routers when they see them. Each router has a unique indetifier called a MAC address.

Your router will be your old address until the database is updated with the new location of your router.
