Random TV shows syncing with iPad2

I have my iPad2 set to sync the 3 oldest unwatched tv shows of select series. This morning, it has randomly started syncing additional episodes. These episodes are all marked as watched, some from series that are selected in the ipad settings, some not. If I go into the TV Shows section of itunes, and manually uncheck the episodes then they won't transer.

Anyone else seeign this type of behaviour?

I'm running

OSX 10.8.2

iTunes 10.7

iOS 6

iPad 2, iOS 6
