MS Paint equivalent for OS X?

MS Paint equivalent for OS X?

Hi,

I'm a recent Windoze switcher:), what program is out there for OS X that is equivalent to MS Paint, with a few extra features like cropping?. I've downloaded LiveQuartz. Looks good.

Any better ones?

If you are looking for a paint program, try ArtRage.

Haha, thats a nice program. But when I said paint, I didnt mean painting program. (Sorry my fault). I just want a program to like crop images etc.. It's a pain to load Photoshop on my x86 Mac just to do a simple task. Because its slow in rosetta.

If all you want to do is Crop you can use Preview. And if your new Mac came with iLife you will be pleasantly surprised by the things you can do in iPhoto. All the basics are there, including Levels, red eye fix, crop, rotate, brightness, and so on.

Nice, thanks for that. I didnt know that Preview had a crop tool. That program is getting more usefull every day 🙂
