HT1338 software update not working

the software update on my system is not working.  Anyone know how to fix.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8), software update not working

    Could please explain to us how software update is not working for you? Your question as asked it so generic, it not possible to answer it. Maybe if you could be more specific as to how it is not working for you or what is is not doing that is causing you problems.
