Are you using a @mac name or AIm screen name ?

HI Cd,

So this is relatively new problem then ?

In that case delete the file com.apple.ichat.AIM.plist from Users/(your account)/Library/Preferences.

Restart iChat. This will ask you again to fill in the accoun t details but will cure any problems with changes to your Address Book where the "Real" name you use in iChat does not match the Mac User account's Address Book Me card.

Hi Cd File,

If this is in your Home folder (/Users/(your account)/Library/Preferences) you should be able to drag it to the waste bin.

WHat is the name you have in the Address Book ?

What is the name of the computer ?

IS there another computer at your place with th e same name or the same MAc Account name in the Address Book ?
