How can i update my GeForce 9400M, without losing the control of the brightness ?

Hello everybody ! I've a problem.

The Nvidia driver for my GeForce 9400M, included in BootCamp is obsolete (261.41). Many programs propose to update this driver to the 306.23 version, because it more efficient than the older. But, when i do the update , i lose the control of the brightness. In the tab "Brightness" in BootCamp Manager or in the Nvidia control panel, when I move the cursor, the brightness does not change. I've search a program who solve the problem, but all tools don't work at all.
