I cannot remove calendars in iCal.
Each time I try to delete a calendar it dispapears 10 seconds then comes back again.
I try to delete prefrences files
com.apple.iCal.plist
com.apple.iCal.helper.plist
but without success.
Any clue for that ?

If your calendars are in your iCal's sidebar, control + click on one. At the bottom of the the newly opened window will be delete.
What happens if you hit delete?

Thanks for your help but unfortunately it does not work.
The result is identical to what I had when selectecting a caldendar and try to elminate from Edit / Eliminate.
What happens is as follow:
1. It sees to work. The calendar disapears.
2. But, after 5 secponds it appears again on the list of calendars.

A possibility is that you might have some syncing happening where your calendar is being replaced.
Look in ~/Library/Application Support/SyncServices in case the calendar is duplicated there, and drag it to the trash.
I thought it was the soltuion but nothing. Nothing in this file.
I dragged into the bin the "calendars" file in the "Library".
But no results. Aways the same calendars appeared and no way to delete them.
There is probably a solution to remove ical and all teh connected files so as to start agai from scratch reinstalling ical. How to do that ???
