Compatibility Issue

I have a 2012 Nissan Rogue with a usb slot. I'm able to play music from my iTouch, but not the iPod Shuffle (4generation). Please advise what I could be doing wrong. Thanks

I don't think you can use the USB connector that comes with the Shuffle for audio output. You could use a mini stereo jack to connect the Shuffle to a Aux input to the Car radio.

OK, I have no verified information on this but after searching for answers the mini jack seems to be the way to sort it out with the shuffle.

I don't think it is the cable, I think it is the difference in the design between the Touch the Shuffle.

Another way to get the music through your car radio is via an FM transmitter that plugs into the Shuffle and you tune the car radio on FM into the small trasmitter. There are quite a few available for example:-

I thought this was a rather neat idea:-

Hopefully if there is a way to use the USB cable someone will add information for you.
