Q: Previously purchased app.

When I reset my IPhone 4 some of my apps did not reload.  When I searched I found the app with a different cover.  If I click on buy will I be given the opportunity to cancel If I find that I will be charged

    Go back to the App Store, previous purchases, and you can redownload them.

    Some develops do offer older app versions for compatibility with older iOS versions, but it's up to each developer.

     

    Log into your App Store account (best on your iPhone), then check the Purchases section. Select to re-download the app from there and see what happen, if the new version is not compatible with your iOS, you will not be able to install it. If an older version is available, you will be offered that version.
