iOS 6 beta 4 expired

So I got my iPhone 4S UDID registered for free, and was able to get iOS 6, then when the golden master came out I couldn't get it since I don't have a developer account, and iOS 6 beta 4 expired today and my phone is completely unuseable, and iTunes won't let me back it up. I know I can restore it, but I'd rather not lose all my texts, they're very important to me.

HELP ME OUT PLEASE. 😟

I have agree with jkundert on this one; I'm out of suggestions.

As a last check:

1) Verify that you actually have an Iphone 4S

2) Verify that you uare actually in DFU mode (iTunes will tell you recovery mode or the equivalent)

3) Verify that you are actually using the .ipsw for your phone model

Did you option-client the Restore button? Because - in the last 4 or 5 years that has been my final way out of any problem. Iphone's are virtually unbrickable.

Hey Guys,

I am still on ios 6 beta 4 🙂.

I have found a method to keep using beta and do an ota without needing to restore with itunes.

If you are at the expiration screen dont worry. Just follow these steps http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbD7TuAq83E (not my video). Once you are in just change the date a year back.(then reboot) That is was I did. Then wait for ios 6.0.1 or 6.1 and to a OTA(over the air) update. Sadly the appstore, itunes, imessage, facetime, find my iphone and a couple of other things don't work.😠 But since ios 6 has a lot of bugs I hope the update comes this month. Hope it helped 🙂
