Does OS X 10.8.2 has the option to hide all the file extension with one execution?
I know the "get info" option works but this method actually limits the option to a single file not all.

There's likely some Terminal command that will do the trick - but if there is I don't know it...

Try the "Hide Extensions" script on this page: Software Projects
If that doesn't work, do a search for Applescripts that hide extensions.
there are interesting thing with _double_ extensions - you can only hide first.
like book.fb2.zip - after hiding you'll see book.fb2
