1. Hold the Sleep and Home button down (together)
2. For about 10 seconds
3. Until you see the Apple logo (very important)

Dec 29, 2014 10:12 AM in response to Diavonexby sabinegrueni,I had the same problem as johnochris, and somebody told me to do the same as you recommended him. I just wasn't sure if my settings and data are deleted then, because it's a reset?!?

Dec 29, 2014 10:59 AM in response to sabinegrueniby Diavonex,Holding the Sleep/Wake and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo will not affect/delete your data. It's like rebooting your computer.
