iPod Touch Blue Screen

I was updating my iPod Touch to IOS6 when the battery went low. The iPod is mow not visible as a device to iTunes. When reset and plugged in, it shows low battery and then the Apple logo and then a blank blue screen gradually turning white. Any ideas?

Other uses have had the same problem:

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
