I'm new to Apple, Got a MacBook pro in April and pretty much want to give up. I'm tryinh to download software (digital river/ drop box), and it downloads fine, but doesn't automatcially run. It appears in the downloads as a text fiel. I know I have to get over the ms/apple hurdel - but I seem to be stumbling at the basics. Any advice gratefully received. Jeannie

If you don't see an installer window, simply double-click the downloaded disk image file to mount the disk image on your desktop. Double-click the disk volume that appears and then double-click the installer or updater file to start the installation process.
