How do I switch my App Store country ?

Hi,

I'm french and living in France so my macbook works with the french App Store and my itunes account is also french.

I need to dowload an application to make age pyramids and it's in the US App Store I guess.

So I'm not allowed to download something that is not from my country App Store, and I don't have the slightest idea of why Apple made it this way.

So do you have any idea of how I can do that ?

Thanks 🙂

MacBook Air (11-inch, Mid 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

The issue is that your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside.

"Although you can browse the iTunes Store in any country without being signed in, you can only purchase content from the iTunes Store for your own country. This is enforced via the billing address associated with your credit card or other payment method that you use with the iTunes Store, rather than your actual geographic location."

Billing policy is the same for the iTunes and Mac App Stores.
