Evidently you can't. Just stop using this software and use another photo catolguing software until Apple decides to give you the option to disable face revognition as it is available in Aperture. Stop using this sofware.

What i did was this.
Right click with a magic mouse or command A to select all of the faces, then look up at your toolbar and select "Move to trash".
If there are no faces to search, then obviously faces has nothing to look for.
Worked wonders for me.

So by deleting the "Face Profile" or whatever it's called for the individual Faces keeps searching for, you think that's not a solution?
The actual pictures identified by faces are not deleted. Only the avatar and name you list to be looked for within faces is what you're removing.
Do you have a better solution? I'm all ears.
