Is there no way to do a soft or a hard return in an iBooks Author title? Return and Shift-Return merely move the cursor to the end of the line. The text only breaks when it reaches the edge of the text box. This is absurd and it's frustrating my layout or adding work by forcing me to make additional text boxes. The returns work fine in the body copy. All software is current. Please advise. Thank you.

I'm having the same problem. It is absolutely nuts that we cannot just insert a break on a line for the title!
Very frustrating indeed. The only way I can do it is to copy/paste a return character from elsewhere in the document.

Upon further thought, it may be deliberate that iBA discourages you from inserting forced breaks into titles. These titles will automatically appear in several locations in your document. A forced break that looks just perfect in one location may look terrible someplace else (like in an automatically generated TOC).
So it may be wiser to control the wrapping of titles by adjusting the width of the text box in which they reside.
They could have a much more elegant solution than that. I want to decide how my page looks. This is clunky.
