iPhone 4S Self-Deactivated and activation server is always unavailable

Last night I opened up an Application on my iPhone 4S. Suddenly it just restarted then the Activation Screen popped up.

I tried to re-activate on my iPhone through Wifi in numerous Wifi networks but an error message always comes up:

"Could Not Activate iPhone:

Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable. Try Connecting iPhone to iTunes to activate it. or try again in a cuple of minutes.

If this problem persiss, contact Apple Support at apple.com/support"

I tried connecting to iTunes via USB but it always says:

"(!) The Software on the iPhone 4S has expired and must be updated to a newer version."

I tried restoring it from iTunes but it always says:

"(!) There was a problem downloading the software for the iPhone 4S. The requested resrource was not found."

I've been doing all of these re-activation processess for the past 12 hours. With no Success.

Please Help.

Fixed Solution

Manual Factory Restore:

Step 1 Unplug USB iPhone from iTunes.

Step 2 Turn off iPhone (Hold down power button, slide to turn off)

Step 3 When iPhone is off, hold down home button and connect to iTunes via USB.

Step 4 Keep holding home button until "Connect to iTunes" Screen pops up.

Step 5 Click restore on iTunes.

Step 6 Factory Restore, software update & backup memory in process.

Lost all my photo data though. 😟

iPhones aren't supposed to restart and de-activate by itself unexpectedly. What happened Apple!
