Serial Change on FCP 7

Hello. I'm trying to change the serial number on my macbook pro. I deleted "Final Cut Studio System ID" and FCP 7 is still opening under my old serial. Is there another trick for Snow Leopard? The trash is empty, I'm not on the network, and I've restarted my computer. Any Ideas? Thanks!
