Reminders - Badge icon not working properly as it doesn't update when a task is overdue
Issue with reminders app persisting although reinstalled iOS
Please help, as I use it for medication

I'm having the same problem. ios7 running on an iPhone 5. Reminders app. Although i've checked and rechecked the notifications settings and badge settings, the badge on the reminders only shows up about 5% of the time. Seems like it has a mind of its own.
